This year's photo shoot went surprising well with 4 kids. There was one who had a little hard time and you'll probably be able to tell who...

The last two months...
It seems I have been MIA from the blog the last two months. We have been just as busy as ever but enjoying every second.
We took a trip to Utah to see Jarron's brother home from his Mission in California and also his brother and his family from Florida. We all had a blast. Most of the time was spent on the trampoline.
October came and we started our Halloween festivities off with Apple Witch carvings.
We bobbed for apples.
and ate donuts from a string.
Deacon turned 5 months and it was the month of the zebra.
We visited the pumpkin patch
except for Bentley. She must have been scared of the Great Pumpkin.
We had a bonfire at Grandma and Grandpa's and roasted cat-tails (hot dogs) and had yummy smores!
We carved pumpkins.
Then, finally came Halloween and it was a family affair this year. Cayton picked out our costumes. Cayton was Batman, Ayden was Robin, Bentley was Cat Woman, Deacon was the Joker, Jarron was the Riddler and I was Poison Ivy. Jarron and I also had an adult Halloween party earlier in the month and took FIRST PRIZE on costumes!
Deacon got his first haircut...Before
and is now 6 months with the month of the Lion. Weighing in at 17.14 lbs. and 26.75 in. long in the 60% percentile.
And as for me I have gotten all my Christmas shopping done and am just tired but Thanksgiving, Bentley's birthday, Christmas and New Year's here we come!!
(Oh, and I had a birthday but it was seriously the worst ever and I demand a re-do. Don't believe me the highlight of the day was me ripping the bumper off my car backing out of the garage when we are supposed to be headed North for a trip to Grandma's in the mountains. Jarron zip-tied the bumper and we still left on the trip and still came home with the bumper fully intact. Good job honey!)

And So Our School Years Begin
Cayton headed off for his first day of kindergarten... I've been dreading this day for a long long time and it's finally come and gone. I was so nervous for myself because I didn't want him to see me cry because he was SO excited and felt so big going to Kindergarten. He came home in one piece and loved every minute of it. I can't believe that I have joined the ranks of public schools already. They grow up too fast!Be big! Have fun! Doesn't matter what you are to anyone else remember you're EVERYTHING to me!!
His mommy quote of the day:)
His teacher: Mrs. Witgenstein
Ayden had his first day of preschool today and boy was it a tough week while Cayton got to go to school and Ayden didn't. He couldn't wait to start preschool is a definite understatement. He was off and away and it wasn't soon enough for him. Good Luck this year you two!!

A Synopsis
July started out on the toilet but only got better from there:)
I never thought that I would have a picture of the family on a toilet!
Deacon's first time at the Twilight Critirium, boy was it HOT!!
We made a tent in the front room that lasted a couple weeks...
And pretended we were Nephites
The boys took swimming lessons...Cayton improved his back float...
and Ayden enjoyed the diving board.
Deacon's 3 months came and went.
He is such a happy boy. He is always smiling and has the growing thing down pat.
My alligator...not my favorite but it had to do.
Cayton got glasses. j/k but sure does look good in grandma's :)
Jarron and I also took a 4 day trip to Seattle...without kids...to celebrate his 30th birthday that is rapidly approaching. The bummer thing is that I totally spaced the camera and so sorry no pics. You wouldn't want to see my red eyes anyway (I cried a lot about leaving the kids). They had a blast however with Grandma and Grandpa Langston and Katherine. Nothing can beat the hugs and kisses upon arriving home!!!
