A final goodbye...for now

Jacob, Jarron's brother is moving to Florida and on Monday we said our final good-byes. They will be there 2 1/2 years finishing up school and then we all hope they will end up back here in the west. We wish them all the luck in the world and let them know we will miss them all terribly. Jacob doesn't get vacation so if we don't go to Florida (which isn't going to happen) there could be a chance we won't see them again until the girls are 3.
A very cute picture of all the grandchildren on the Langston side. Bentley and Addison. This is Addison's wave but it looks like she is showing off her muscles. Jacob and Keli with all the grandkids. Most of them are excited:)Bentley and Jacob having a last little snuggle time. No snuggles from the boys. A final hug. I guess Florida looks a little more exciting than Idaho but we hope they come back!! It's the people that make it exciting and we are Super exciting people!!

Until we hug again! We love you guys! Jacob, Keli and Addison!

Langston Reunion

This last weekend we ventured to Southern Utah for the Langston Family reunion. Except for the driving it was a lot of fun. On our Way down we stopped at the Twin Falls Temple Open House. It was very beautiful and the kids thought it was very pretty.
One of the days we went ATVing and the kids thought it was really fun for about an hour of the three hour trip. They were really cute in their helmets though. In the 10,000 sq. ft. cabin we stayed in there was a real slide from the upstairs to the downstairs. It was a huge hit with all ages. Jarron and I even used it from time to time. Here is everyone waiting for the Langston Olympics to begin The first event: Horseshoes
Second event: Football toss Third event: Frisbee throw Fourth event: Log roll It looks like I may be in trouble...Bentley is already a big hit with the boys! All the Langston boys (minus Jordan on a mission)The Langston girls (minus Addison...sleeping)but the doll was a nice touchFour generation picture Bentley with her infamous scrunch face. Had to add it just for fun *Just a side note but out of the 16 points that the Kent Langston family made in the olympics the Jarron family made 11 points! And I have to add that I made the ONLY non-measured ringer in horseshoes! Love you all!

The newest addition to our family

As sad as this is to admit it doesn't take away from our excitement! In the 5 1/2 years Jarron and I have been married we haven't EVER had a garden... see I said it was sad. Well, it all changed this year! We have started out slow...very slow. My mom gave us 2 tomato plants and I was sure that I would kill them but I actually haven't and on Sunday we saw the 1st fruits of our labor and had to take a picture!
Isn't it the cutest little tomato ever! Our 2 thriving green plants. The proud Daddy! The tomato of his eye!

Finally, Bentley a room!

It has taken me seven months to get Bentley a nursery but it is now complete and I am very happy with the result!

This crib was the hardest part of the room. It used to be a brown crib but I refinished it white. It was quite the project for a perfectionist. It took me about 2 weeks to complete. I also had some much needed help from my brother and dad. Thanks guys!

I instantly fell in love with this bedding set the moment I saw it. I had been looking everywhere for a purple and brown set but don't bother looking, there isn't one. So, I changed the color scheme to green and brown and added purple as an accent color. These colors are more Bentley anyway, calm and peaceful. Thankfully I didn't have to repaint this! On the mirror I put the words "Grow Giggles" I also put up vinyl lettering around the top of her room. The whole thing says "I am like a star shining brightly shining for the whole world to see I can do and say happy things each day for I know Heavenly Father loves me.My mom and I also reupholstered this rocking chair and I also painted it white. It used to be brown with blue cushions. I bought these metal hangers a while ago and finally found a use for them. We went and had all the kids pictures taken at Jon Ball (something I have wanted to do for a long time) and the empty frame is for one of Bentley. I had this vinyl lettering put on the back of the rocking chair. This is facing out of the nursery. This is the art that I did for her. I scrap -papered her name added a few embellishments and then mod-podged pictures of her best features on wooden squares. I have to give a big thanks to Megan and Newbury Street. I bought almost everything from her!

7 months

Bentley with her seven cupcakes. Just seems like yesterday I was making 6. She is growing so fast. She is rolling over which makes Mommy really happy. The boys hated their stomachs so much and never rolled. She is sitting on her own and we're still working on the laugh. My newest cupcake creation. I saw the design on the web and thought it turned out pretty cute.

Texas

Besides the blistering heat and high humidity, that none of us are used, to our trip, the beginning of June, to Texas was much needed and really FUN! We originally were going down for Jarron's 10 year reunion but it was cancelled very shortly before we headed south. We didn't mind though we got to do more kid friendly things and we even had a mini reunion with a few of Jarron's friends that he hasn't seen in a really long time. (Sorry about some of the pictures being side ways it wasn't working out on the computer and I gave up trying to fix it) On the plane. The boys were really excited to get to fly. Trying to stay cool at the San Antonio Zoo. Mommy didn't bring swim suits. In front of the REALLY BIG FISH at the Zoo. Cayton and Bentley with their new friend Layla. She is Seth (Jarron's friend from High School)and Sunny's little girl. She called Bentley her baby and did a great job of taking care of her. She is adorable!! "Doctor" John playing around. The boys call him Doctor because he is going to school in Houston to become a doctor. Ayden with his new girl friend. They are so cute togther! The boys couldn't wait to go to Sea World! We saved it for the last and hottest day! In the air conditioned 4-D movie everyone was a lot happier. We wore Bentley out at the water park in Sea World. It was really nice to cool off at the end of the day. Some members of the "Hoss" Nick, Seth, Justin, John and Jarron. Our farewell to Texas in the airport gift shop. This picture sums up our vacation pretty well! Plum tuckered out! Bentley slept most of the flight right there on Jarron's legs.

Big IS Beautiful and the Wedding Dress Diaries

Bentley is now 6 months old! She turned 6 months on 06.07.08 so I had to do some extra special cupcakes for the occasion! She is growing so well! She is 18 pounds and 27.25 inches long. She is in the 90% both in height and weight! The pediatrician predicted that she will be tall like her Daddy! You go big girl!!
She's a cutie! (My totally bias opinion!)
So, I got this really cute idea awhile ago to buy an adult swimsuit and take Bentley's picture in it every year and watch her grow up (The swim suit diaries)...but I couldn't find a one-piece that I liked well enough. A couple weeks ago my friend put the thought into my HEAD to put her in my wedding dress every year. So, here is her first picture at 6 months.
Here starts: The Wedding Dress Diaries!!
