How fast your world can change

I have officially won the Worst Mommy Lifetime Achievement Award. Honored, I'm not. Guilt ridden, I am. For those who don't know on Sunday we had just an awful accident with Deacon which resulted with us in the ER, a stay over night at the hospital and him with a skull fracture. With such a tragedy I can only say that we are truly very blessed. With some beautiful blessings from Jarron and many many prayers offered on our behalf I couldn't be happier with the outcome. When we first got to the hospital the diagnosis was gloomy the stay could be long and upon leaving less than only 24 hours later two doctors had conflicting views on if there even was a fracture. The conclusion: Heavenly Father definitely healed a little boy and comforted a family (especially a mother) in need of much comfort. Thank you doesn't even sound like enough to offer to those who have helped in any way whether it was by prayers, phone calls sending your love, meals or the many hugs, but from the greatest depths of my heart I do thank you all and nothing has gone unnoticed or seemed small. Our family is so blessed with wonderful family and friends. Deacon had a doctors appointment today and the only sign of anything wrong is a big goose egg over his left ear. He has no brain damage, no broken bones and his fracture (if there is one) will heal completely normal. We send our love to all of you and thank you for everything!

I can't tell you how relieved I am to hear that he's ok. Seriously. I woke up in the night on sunday and just started bawling because I was so worried. PHEW! What a miracle and a HUGE blessing.
