Texas

Besides the blistering heat and high humidity, that none of us are used, to our trip, the beginning of June, to Texas was much needed and really FUN! We originally were going down for Jarron's 10 year reunion but it was cancelled very shortly before we headed south. We didn't mind though we got to do more kid friendly things and we even had a mini reunion with a few of Jarron's friends that he hasn't seen in a really long time. (Sorry about some of the pictures being side ways it wasn't working out on the computer and I gave up trying to fix it) On the plane. The boys were really excited to get to fly. Trying to stay cool at the San Antonio Zoo. Mommy didn't bring swim suits. In front of the REALLY BIG FISH at the Zoo. Cayton and Bentley with their new friend Layla. She is Seth (Jarron's friend from High School)and Sunny's little girl. She called Bentley her baby and did a great job of taking care of her. She is adorable!! "Doctor" John playing around. The boys call him Doctor because he is going to school in Houston to become a doctor. Ayden with his new girl friend. They are so cute togther! The boys couldn't wait to go to Sea World! We saved it for the last and hottest day! In the air conditioned 4-D movie everyone was a lot happier. We wore Bentley out at the water park in Sea World. It was really nice to cool off at the end of the day. Some members of the "Hoss" Nick, Seth, Justin, John and Jarron. Our farewell to Texas in the airport gift shop. This picture sums up our vacation pretty well! Plum tuckered out! Bentley slept most of the flight right there on Jarron's legs.

Sounds like you had a fabulous trip. Bummer that the reunion was canceled, but at least you got a mini reunion! I am so glad your kids were good on the plane rides. Traveling with kids can be hectic, but I am way glad your trip turned out good...hot but good!

That looked like fun. I completely forgot that you were going there. I'm glad the plane ride went well, my kids aren't that great of travelers. You and the kids are probably just happy to be home and back to the normal life again.
